Thursday day
Southern and eastern Scotland, parts of northeastern England and eastern parts of Northern Ireland will have locally heavy outbreaks of rain. Further south there will be sunny intervals and scattered heavy showers, some thundery.
Thursday night
Tonight showers or longer spells of rain will sink southwards across England and Wales. Most of Scotland and Northern Ireland will be dry, although there will be isolated showers around.
Friday
Further showery rain at first in parts of eastern England but otherwise a day of sunshine and scattered showers, most of the showers in the north and east. Feeling fresher.
Saturday
Although eastern areas will start dry, heavy rain further west will spread to all parts by the afternoon. Brisk winds will accompany the rain.
